·Hanging out with frens·

Canberra's life can be quite happening, depends on how you wanna make it so... as for me, hanging out with frens would definitely be one of the ways to escape from boredom...

Don't believe?? Try it...

Me, See Mun, Sook Leng, Kar Wai, Yean Tat and Miles are playing video games in Bruce Hall's common room (Bruce Hall's where Kar Wai is staying now)

What game is that?? Mario Super Kart, that is, hahah ^^

I think this should be the one of the performances during the Canberra Day Festival
Sook Leng, See mun and me taking photo during the SkyFire nite... It's part of the Canberra Day celebration also... Just a note: I've uploaded the video of the SkyFire, just to describe it to u all first and you can see it for urself later... It's actually a 20 min firework with specially designed soundtrack to go together with it, and is blasted off in the middle of the Lake Pauline Griffin, breathtaking view that really would make you forget to breathe throughout the whole 20 mins... But you can't really hear the soundtrack, b'coz of the crowd around us, as well as the sound of the firework...

Ever see eskimo around Australia? Here's Yean Tat for you..
That's the huge fountain in the middle of Lake Pauline Griffin *awesome*
That day, me, Dexter (the guy in white), Hui Ling (the girl opposite him), and emily (the funny looking one below) went to Fsywick Market... And u know wad... It's not open coz it's Good Friday *dumb*, so we took another bus ride and went to Woden's Woolworth, at the bleak hope that it will be open... well, u can guess the rest...............
What's Emily doing??!! No idea, but if she sees this, she will definitely chase after me with a knife on her hand, aiks...

yea, we bought some red bean in the morning, and straightaway try it out at night, turns out to be quite ok, but then again, it's just quite ok ^^

this is just taken tonight, i.e. just now at Fellow Oval where we're participating in Australia's Earth Hour, something to do with switching off the lights to help bringing out climate change awareness, this idea were initiative born just a year ago in Sydney... So, ANU students come along together, using candles to form an earth with australia's land on it, cool rite?

Apparently, UniLodge (that's where I'm staying currently) has been very active and lively recently... They were giving out these glow stick u saw in the photo above, encouraging UniLodgers to go and have a say in the event... so we took this opportunity to take this photo...

Before:

After:

Isn't it just cool or what?? Any objection??

Me and Emily taking a photo by the candles... U should be there and have a look at those candles, really very beautiful... I think it's by far, the most beautiful things I've ever encounter...

There's this fire performance going on in the candle circles, quite cool rite??
Below is a glimpse of the candle formation that I've recorded, enjoy^^
